At Schelastic Education Center, SEC, we are expanding the educational experience by offering multiple options for schooling engagement. At SEC, students can participate as through full or part-time educational support options.
Full-time students may attend class from 9am-3pm Monday-Thursday, taking part in any or all scheduled activities, though attendance at the center is not required to fulfill curriculum requirements. Support for full-time students who chose not to attend is available online.
Though full-time enrollment includes activities scheduled throughout the day, supply or lab fees may apply.

- A parent provided personal laptop with Wi-Fi capability and a headset are requirements for use of online curriculum.
Necessary High School Additions:
– $100 Compass Electives (all High School students need Electives)
– $100 Compass AP/Honors Courses (as desired)/ Speech Class (all High School students need Speech)
-Dual Credit Course options available upon request from alternative curriculum.
(The AP/Honors Courses are in the same package as the Speech Class, therefore if you pay for speech, you may also take AP/Honors courses and vice-versa)
K-12 Foreign Language:
-$200 Language Courses (including Spanish, French, Chinese, German, and Latin) per student per calendar year (Educational support needed for foreign language in any language other than Spanish would be at parent expense for a private tutor.)
-All High School students on the recommended program need two years of a consecutive foreign language as per the State of Texas.

Semester classes are held on a Monday-Thursday schedule depending on the class – some are two days a week and others are only one day a week. Please see our Calendar at http://www.schelastic.com
All enrichment classes last 50 minutes: 1-1:50pm or 2-2:50pm; Dismissal at 3:00 daily.
Per Class Fees vary by class:
$70.00: 8-week series price: Discounted for full upfront payment per semester 8-week series
$10.00: per class fee upon arrival- Low, no-commitment price
Important Payment Options:
Payment Option for K-12th grade: 9 Month Automatic Debit/Credit Payment (Payments Aug to May; $15.00 Processing fee will be added per month for automatic debit/credit usage)
Important Payment Policies
All partial payments will be debited/credited on the fourth Monday of every month.
Please plan ahead: Late Payments will incur a $25 fee on the 1st of the month.
Checks returned due to insufficient funds will incur a $40 fee.
Drop Policy
Before Sept 12th – 80% refund
After September 12th – 0% refund
Absolutely No Refunds on Curriculum through SEC.
